Interested Narrators need to contact iPustak HUB team and share their voice samples depicting different tones, genres, accents etc. which will showcase their voice potential to the authors who would be their prospective clients.

Share the voice samples page dedicated to a Narrator to as many contacts in Network as possible to get the word around about the quality of the work done by the Narrator.

Step 3. Connect with Author via iPustak HUB

If any producer or an author selects the voice of a narrator for a particular project the iPustak HUB team will coordinate with producer/author and the narrator and facilitate the negotiations about the commercial rates and other aspects of the project.

Step 4. Sign Relevant Contracts

It is important to have a contract or an agreement or an MOU(Memorandum of Understanding) between producer/author and the narrator. Having a signed contract in place avoids any confusion or any disputes as far as Audio rights and commercial terms are concerned.  iPustak HUB team may facilitate this between the Narrator and the Producer/the Author.

It is important to make a 10 -15 minutes finished the audio sample of the book. This sample validates if the narrator has given the result which is expected by the Author or a Producer.

It is important to send the audio sample created by the narrator to as many reviewers as possible which helps to get true feedback before time and make any corrections. This Audio Sample can also be sent to iPustak HUB for evaluation. Experts at iPustak HUB will provide support and guidance for improvement of the audiobook if any. This would help any rejection or rework once the book is complete. This will also save time, money and effort for the narrator as he/she would get timely feedback and make the necessary changes as expected by the Author or the Producer.

Once the feedback on the Audio Sample is received, make necessary changes and then record the entire audiobook. It is recommended to monitor the recording and check time to time, if the feedback given by the reviewers is incorporated consistently in recording and narration.

Step 8. Sign the Project Completion Document

Once the Audiobook is produced, sign a project completion document with the Producer/the Author which formally completes the engagement of the Narrator with the Producer/the Author for a particular audiobook narration project. This document helps the narrator to get paid for the work and then move on to the next narration assignment.
