Interested Sound Recording Professionals need to contact iPustak HUB team and share their work related to voice over projects completed by them.  These samples will indicate the quality of work done by the Sound Recording Professional who is interested in collaborating with iPustak HUB

Step 2. Upload the samples of voice to iPustak HUB

The Sound Recording Professional will be promoted by iPustak HUB to the producers/authors/narrators to get the audio recording job done in the recording facilities of the Sound Recording Professional. It could be a commercial facility or it could even be a home studio set up.

Step 3. Connect with Narrator via IPustak HUB

If any producer or an author or a narrator prefers a particular location for recording the sound for logistical reasons,  iPustak HUB will recommend the Sound Recording Facility which could be used by the Author/Producer/Narrator for recording their audiobook.

Step 4. Sign Relevant Contracts

It may be required to have a contract or an agreement or an MOU(Memorandum of Understanding) between producer/author/narrator and the Sound Recording Facility. It will be dependent on the comfort levels between the parties as to have the documented agreement or not. However, iPustak recommends that having a signed contract in place avoids any confusion or any disputes as far as Audio rights and commercial terms are concerned.  iPustak HUB team may facilitate this between the Narrator and the Sound Recording Professional if need be and as per request of either of the involved parties.

Step 5. Create an Audio Sample

It is important to make a 10 -15 minutes finished the audio sample of the book. This sample validates if the Sound Recording Engineer working in a particular Sound Facility hasility  has given the result which is expected by the Author /Producer/Narrator.

It is important to send the audio sample created in the Sound Recording Facility to be sent to the Producer/Author/Narrator. This Audio Sample can also be sent to iPustak HUB for evaluation. Experts at iPustak HUB will provide support and guidance for improvement of the audiobook if any. This would help in avoiding any rejection or rework once the book is complete. This will also save time, money and effort for the narrator and Sound Recording Professional as he/she would get timely feedback and make the necessary changes as expected by the Author/Producer/Narrator.

Step 7. Record Full Audiobook

Once the feedback on the Audio Sample is received, make necessary changes and then record the entire audiobook. It is recommended to monitor the recording and check time to time. This ensures consistency recording and narration.

Step 8. Sign the Project Completion Document

Once the Audiobook is produced, sign a project completion document with the Producer/Author/Narrator which formally completes the engagement of the Sound Recording Professioanl with the Producer/ Author/Narrator for a particular audiobook narration project. This document helps the Sound Recording Professional to get paid for the work and then move on to the next recording assignment.
